Child-Like

Raising his arms, he leaped on me time and again,
He had his charm and charisma and took all my pain.
I embraced him with all the love, warmth and fondness I had,
Wow! What an emotion and sentiment, it made both of us glad.

This is what you and I feel when you embrace a kid,
Revives your day, whether he is Yash, Kunaal or Sid.
We relish there smile coming out of there molars,
Believe it or not! It is worth a million dollars.

This is so right. For me, all the money in the world will not replace that smile. Children with their innocence, and their impish demeanor just are a delight.

The other day I was talking to Shantanu and suddenly I realised that he is a young man now, and is slipping out of his boyhood stage. His disposition, his talk pattern and insights were suddenly mature, and dint't reveal any traces of juvenile thinking. It was just like when we are talking amongst ourselves in our group, well when we discuss normal stuff!!!

One of the great joys of parenthood, getting home from the hospital, toothless grins, bicycle rides, adoloscent and then adulthood. Unfortunate are those who do not get to traverse this road indeed.
